About Us

Raje Sambhaji Bahuuddeshiya Sevabhavi Sanstha, established in 2000, is a non-profit organization dedicated to the empowerment and education of children with intellectual disabilities. Our mission is to provide holistic development through specialized education, therapy, vocational training, and life skills programs, ensuring that every child receives the care and opportunities they deserve.

Founded by Hon. Shree Shivaji Govindrao Chavan, our trust operates four special residential schools across Maharashtra. These schools cater to children with diverse intellectual and developmental disabilities, equipping them with the skills needed to lead independent, dignified, and fulfilling lives.

Our key areas of work include:
✔ Special Education – Customized learning programs designed for children with intellectual disabilities.
✔ Therapeutic Support – Speech therapy, occupational therapy, and behavioral therapy to enhance individual growth.
✔ Vocational Training – Skill development in areas such as handicrafts, gardening, and basic computing to promote self-sufficiency.
✔ Inclusive Community Development – Raising awareness and advocating for the rights of people with disabilities.
✔ Residential Care & Support – Safe and nurturing accommodation with round-the-clock care.

We are a registered trust under:
✔ Maharashtra Public Trusts Act, 1960 (Reg. No. MH/571/2001, Dated: 10 October 2001)
✔ The Bombay Public Trusts Act, 1950 (Reg. No. F-9030/Beed, Dated: 28 January 2002)
✔ Registered under the Persons with Disabilities Act, 1995, ensuring compliance with special education and welfare guidelines.
✔ 80G & 12A Certified – Donations made to our trust are eligible for tax exemption under the Income Tax Act, 1961.
✔ Affiliated with the Department of Social Welfare, Maharashtra, and recognized by the Government for providing services to children with special needs.

🌟 Special Schools for Intellectual Disabilities

🌱 Environmental Conservation

We actively conduct tree plantation drives to promote sustainability and a greener future.

📚 Rural Library Development

Our organization has set up libraries in rural areas, ensuring access to books and educational resources for underprivileged children.

🛠 Support for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs)

We assist disabled individuals in registering for Swalamban UDID cards (Disability Certificates) through government hospitals, enabling them to access government benefits and rights.
